Applications
IAM-MSAN is a versatile and scalable multiservice access platform that enables the selection and delivery of voice, data and video (“triple play”) over a wide range of wireline access media. High-density interface units can be plugged in any of 21 universal slots - providing a choice of over 15 different interface types for any type of access speed. The range of interfaces guarantees greater flexibility in the access network and improved support for subscriber services.
IAM-MSAN can be deployed in central offices as well as remote/building mode applications using its wide range of functions. It enables migration from legacy TDM networks to next generation networks enabling IP based voice as well as broadband data applications using either TDM or IP based transport mechanisms.
